Discovering a mouse in the house is very upsetting. So is finding proof that one has been inside.

Thankfully, you can solve this problem by following advice from the rodent experts at Pest HQ:
- Know your foe. Learn about mice, such as when they’re most active and why they’re in your home. This will improve your odds of getting rid of them.

- Disinfect. Mice can spread disease, so clean up any droppings and soiled nesting material. If a lot of droppings are present, wear gloves, eye protection and a medical face mask. Sanitize kitchen counters, appliances, cabinets and food storage areas.
